Company President since December of 2012, Sean T. Russell’s REACH roots do just that, they reach—back to 1991. “At age 23,” he says, “I found myself on the line working with Dr. McDonald, and I fell in love with the mission. All of a sudden, I knew exactly what I wanted to do—to serve the people who are living this important mission.” In his time with REACH, he has seen the company grow from one base to more than 20. He has also served in a variety of roles, including Clinician, Program Director, Director of Clinical Services, Director of Service Delivery, Chief Service and Operating Officer. “I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to serve in many roles within REACH, allowing the experience and insights to our role in health care”. Additional past experience includes working as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Sonoma and Cameron Park and as a Respiratory Care Practitioner for UCSF, as well as founding and serving as President of the California Association of Air Medical Services California Board.
In his current role, Sean’s top priority is making sure that everyone on the REACH staff is equipped to succeed, that they have what they need to take care of patients in a high quality and safe way. He is a strong advocate for servant leadership, viewing it as vital to authentic connection with both staff and customers and also as the most direct path to finding solutions and supporting the REACH mission.
